ABOUT
My name is Suzie Trelawney and I am a qualified Nail Technician and Foot Health Practitioner, specialising in Medical Pedicures. Welcome to my site!
Most of my working career was spent as a Personal Assistant, working in an office environment. My work was always a means to an end - I longed for the weekends and that pay packet at the end of the month. Like an awful lot of people, I dreaded Monday morning and longed to be somewhere else! Then about 8 years ago, I started attending to my elderly mothers feet. She was a diabetic and suffered with ingrowing toe nails. I was not trained then but did a fair bit of research and was already familiar with the care that is needed when looking after a diabetic. I really did enjoy doing mum's feet - in fact I loved it!
A friend of mine who is a Foot Health Practitioner suggested that I trained! Well it's one thing looking after your mum's feet but quite another doing someone else's and I was not sure.......however, my friend took me with her one day a week to work alongside her assisting with her clients. This also included working in several nursing and care homes for the elderly. That is when I really decided that this had to be the job for me! I then went on to train as a FHP and have never looked back. I love helping people and giving them relief from everyday problems with their feet.
